RI.MA. Transport Srl celebrates CO.TR.I.M.’s 40th anniversary: a story of cooperation looking to the future

RI.MA. Transport Srl joins the celebrations for CO.TR.I.M.’s 40th anniversary, a milestone that highlights the strength of cooperation in the world of road transport and logistics. Founded in 1985 by 16 road hauliers, with the support of Confcooperative and with Tre Valli Cooperlat as its first customer, CO.TR.I.M. has grown over time into a solid and well-structured organisation.

Today the cooperative—specialised in the transport of fresh and frozen foods and food-grade liquids—records around €18 million in turnover, 120 staff and 120 vehicles, with operations that cover approximately 15 million kilometres each year. This is a significant evolution, considering that at the beginning it was a consortium with around €1 million in turnover, 30 vehicles and 28 employees.

The anniversary was celebrated with an event at Villa Anton in Recanati, attended by members, institutions and industry representatives. On this occasion, President Fabio Cetraro recalled that the cooperative’s value lies not only in figures or technology, but above all in the people: drivers, warehouse staff and office employees who have built CO.TR.I.M.’s story with sacrifice and professionalism.

For RI.MA. Transport Srl, this anniversary has a special meaning: RI.MA. Trasporti Srl is among the companies that make up CO.TR.I.M., bearing witness to a shared journey built on reliability, continuity and a common vision.

General Manager Bruno Pennesi also highlighted the importance of generational transition, with a cooperative now led by the second generation, called upon to carry forward the founders’ legacy responsibly. A message that RI.MA. strongly relates to: innovating, growing and remaining a point of reference for customers, while staying true to the values that have made CO.TR.I.M. a solid organisation over these forty years.
